A piece of history - this roundish Ancient glass cabochon has medium dome and green body. It has some cracks and I left a spot on the surface in its natural state. Depending on lighting, it can display a silky inner glow.
Ancient Romans were masters of many things, including creating the most beautiful vessels of glass. Some of it is still found in Ancient Roman Empire territory. Romans did recycle a lot of glass they made, however, some has survived to our times.
