A piece of history - this Ancient glass cabochon has high dome and lovely green body. It has few tiny air bubble inclusions. Depending on lighting, it can display a silky inner glow.
Ancient Romans were masters of many things, including creating the most beautiful vessels of glass. Some of it is still found in Ancient Roman Empire territory. Romans did recycle a lot of glass they made, however, some has survived to our times.
