Purple black opal, 5.82ct

This is a large bargain stone. On the dark gray body you can see flashing purple blue and sometimes there is a red and sunflash appearing.  I would recommend to set this opal in a ring, as it needs a movement to show on its best, due to quite pronounced directionality; play of color visible from some angles better than other.

• 5.82ct, 15.05x11.35x4.92mm, from Lighting Ridge, Australia.

• Body tone: N3, Black opal.
