Adventures of Coffee Opals

Some year or so ago I spilled a substantial amount of coffee on some opals, those two Ethiopian opals included. While Australian opals just shrugged it off and a good soap bath was enough, the Ethiopian opals has their hydrophane nature and they just drank the coffee faster than I could wake up.

I decided to try and "wash" it out with immersing the duo in the water for prolonged time. Did it work? Watch and find out!
