Green Black Picture Opal, 4.26ct from Lightning Ridge, AUS

• 4.26ct,  15.30x15.33x2.77mm from Lightning Ridge, Australia;
• Brightness: 2 of 5 - moderately bright;
• Body tone: N3, Black opal.

The precious opal threads through the black potch in beautiful, grass like pattern with a silky glow. Picture opals really are tiny natures paintings.  I would recommend to set this opal in a pendant, as it has large, flat surface.
