Australian Boulder opals are natural doublets where precious opal layers has formed on ironstone matrix. This opal has a dark blue purple and green play of color displayed in beautiful pattern. The opal has undulated surface and also purple crystal opal in on the back. It would make one of kind pendant or other jewelry piece.

Please note that my camera is picking up more bright blue tones than are visible with human eye. This opal shows dark blue and purple with green together.
